Bite Into Jazz..
January 12, 2009
As if Bite needed anymore reasons for locals and visitors alike to embrace it’s cozy atmosphere – along comes Live Jazz Friday Nights.Bite Incline Village
The former owner of Frederick’s, in Incline Village has opened Bite, a few doors down, offering small plates of eclectic cuisine. He was also chef and part owner of Ciao in Reno, now currently Bistro 7.
The prices are moderate, the atmosphere is casual, and the food is excellent. The menu will be changing shortly, so the items below may be changed for other dishes.
Tom ka kai soup with tofu, shrimp and andouille sausage gumbo, mixed greens and cherry tomato sald with habanero-tomato vinaigrette, corn, goat cheese, mango salad with champagne vinaigrette, ahi sliders with arugula, pickled ginger and wasabi aioli, prime rib eye with cabernet demi-glace, bryn’s gnocchi with bacon, white mushrooms, marsala cream and parmesan, eggplant rollatini with tomato-basil sauce, and green chili cheese grits.
The wine list is good, with fair prices.
